Taunton Foodbank is delighted to welcome Henry Steele from Uffculme School to the ranks of volunteers.
Henry is completing his silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and chose the Foodbank for his Volunteering section, having seen the collection points in various supermarkets and shops.
Henry will volunteer 24 hours of his valuable time in order to complete this part of the scheme. He has been helping with stocking the boxes and delivering them to clients.
It is very gratifying to see the next generation getting involved with this important work so if anyone is contemplating doing a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, please bear us in mind when choosing your volunteer section.
