NEW CHAIR OF TAUNTON FOODBANK

3rd August 2017

Jeff Moss Melvyn Roberts

Taunton Foodbank are delighted to announce that Jeff Moss, pastor of the Taunton Family Church, has agreed to take over the Chair of the Trustees, starting immediately.

Jeff will succede Melvyn Roberts who is moving on to pastures new, after a very productive two years in the Chair.

Jeff moved from Stockport in 1986 to join B&Q. He then went on to start the first Family Church in Dorchester in 1995 and after that, in Weymouth, Yeovil and now Taunton.

Jeff says “I am very much looking forward to carrying on the important charity work of the Taunton Foodbank and continue with the good work that my predecessor has implemented. We rely on the good will of our volunteers and donations so please do continue to support this initiative which provides food to the vulnerable in our society. We are seeing peak numbers due to the new Universal Credit being rolled out in this area and there is a genuine hardship until the new system delivers.”
